Tickets

Tickets are required and include Museum admission. $35 General Admission $10 Members.

Doors open approximately 30 minutes prior to start time. To protect the focus and integrity of our teachers, latecomers will not be admitted. Tickets cannot be refunded or exchanged. Additional tickets may become available closer to the program date. Check back often. Participants may be required to remove shoes during the class.

Floor 3, Theater

Latin Fusion is a blend of multiple Latin dance styles including mambo, cha-cha, and salsa with hints of jazz, hip hop, and street styles. Students will be led through the fundamentals of the style’s footwork and musicality while being introduced to the vibrant rhythms of Latin music. 

Instructor
Katherine Jimenez is an international dance performer, instructor, choreographer, and entrepreneur. Born in New York City, Jimenez began her dance training at The Ailey School Junior Division at a young age. After years of training and performing around the world, Jimenez was recognized by The New York Times as the first NY Style Mambo instructor at AILEY in 2016. Jimenez holds a master’s degree in dance education from the NYU Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development. She has shared the stage in arenas such as New York City Center, The United Palace, and Lincoln Center and was also a featured dancer in In the Heights, directed by Jon M. Chu and written by Quiara Alegría Hudes and Lin Manuel Miranda.
