On July 6, YI Arts Careers teens met with Kevin Schorn, an architect at the Renzo Piano Building Workshop. He is a part of the team who designed the new Whitney Museum building. Schorn is responsible for the exterior design of the Museum. First he told us about his professional background as an architect and explained his role in the creation of the building as we walked around the outside of the Museum. I was intrigued by the passion he had for the building.
