On July 12, 2017, YI Arts Careers met with Kevin Schorn, one of the leading architects of Renzo Piano's design team for the new Whitney Museum. Schorn explained his job as an architect in detail, describing the time and effort it took to build the Whitney. He stressed that architecture is a necessity in our society, as it can make or break the integration of a community. I learned that the job of an architect is not easy and felt that meeting with Schorn expanded my understanding of what makes good architecture.
