Epic-ness, art, candy, and tons of free stuff are just a few words that describe our Friday at the Metropolitan Museum of Art a few weeks ago. It was the first ever open house for teen programs at the Met. Youth Insights was invited to have a station, along with several other museums, including: the New Museum; the Museum of Modern Art; the Museum of Art and Design; High 5 Tickets to the Arts; and more.

Several of the Met’s staff came out for a panel discussion that provided a lot of insight into the inner workings of the museum, including its history and job areas. We had a fun time introducing and encouraging all of the teens that were there to join our program. We also gave out free stickers and sketchbooks.

Thanks to everyone who came out to learn more about what we do at the Whitney! And thanks as well to the Metropolitan Museum for hosting us.
