Collograph Prints

Louise Nevelson described herself as the “original recycler.” She made her sculptures out of materials she found on the streets of Manhattan, which she would mix together and paint in a single color, usually black.  In this way, she turned lots of scavenged materials into large-scale, abstract sculptures.

Take a close look at Nevelson’s Young Shadows. Then, collect materials from around your own house, and we’ll print them to create abstract compositions of our own.
