Dyani White Hawk created Nourish just for the Whitney Museum. It’s a giant mosaic, inspired by Native American art-making techniques. White Hawk’s work explores the long tradition of abstract art and the artistic techniques developed by her ancestors. It also reflects the natural landscape where White Hawk grew up.
