For Your Homebound Population

Teleconference Courses

Extending the Whitney resources to homebound seniors, the Museum’s Teleconference Courses are offered twice a year through the Meals on Wheels programs of our community partners. For each course, the Whitney creates packets of color images that are distributed to seniors with their Meals on Wheels deliveries. Seniors reference these booklets as a visual aid during multi-session lectures conducted over the telephone. Through the use of teleconference technology provided by the senior centers, each senior engages in an open forum with a Whitney lecturer and with one another from the comfort of their own homes.

For more information, or to schedule a Teleconference Course, center staff members can call (212) 671-1823 or email accessfeedback@whitney.org.

Participation in these programs is limited to our senior center community partners.
