Holiday Toy Drive
December 8–21, 2022

In collaboration with the New York City Department of Homeless Services, the Whitney will be collecting new, unwrapped toys for families living in shelters or temporary housing in New York City. The effort is part of the City’s commitment to support those in all five boroughs facing extreme challenges, including asylum seekers.

Contributions
The City has identified an urgent need for toys, art supplies, and books. Multilingual items are appreciated. As per City regulations, we can only accept new, unwrapped items. The donations will be distributed by the Department of Homeless Services.

Where
The drop-off site is located on the ground floor of the Whitney Museum. Admission to this floor of the Museum is free. While visitors are welcome to purchase a ticket and explore the museum, a ticket is not necessary to donate a toy.

When
The toy drive will take place Thursday, December 8–Wednesday, December 21, 2022.

Thank you and happy holidays!
