Join Joan Tisch Teaching Fellow Patryk Tomaszewski to look at highlights from the Whitney’s collection from its start in the early decades of the twentieth century to the present. Focusing on a range of mediums and styles, we will explore how the collection’s growth has reflected sociopolitical changes and cultural shifts in the United States since the Museum’s founding.

The thirty-minute session will introduce the exhibition by discussing highlights in context. Participants are invited to comment and ask questions through a moderated chat for a fifteen-minute Q&A following the talk. Explore more virtual tours
