Celebrating a Decade Downtown
Ten Years in Meatpacking

Beginning May 1 and running for ten weeks through mid-July, the Whitney marks its decade downtown in the Meatpacking District with special programs and events. From festivities during Free Friday Nights and Free Second Sundays, to live music performances and artist-led activities for all ages, come celebrate with us.



Land Acknowledgment

The Whitney is located in Lenapehoking, the ancestral homeland of the Lenape. The Whitney acknowledges the displacement of this region’s original inhabitants and the Lenape diaspora that exists today.
