Visitor policies
coat check
- All backpacks, packages, and laptops must be checked in at the coat check.
- Coats may be carried into the galleries.
- Umbrellas must be checked or placed in a protective bag supplied by the Museum.
- Small luggage (carry-on size) may be checked.
- Wheelchairs are available at the coat check.
In the galleries
- No food or drinks.
- No cell phone calls.
- Photography is not permitted in the Museum’s galleries unless otherwise noted. No flash photography.
- Sketching is allowed in the galleries.
- Sitting on the floor is not permitted.
- Only pencils may be used in the galleries. The use of pens and markers is prohibited.
- Children under sixteen must be accompanied by an adult.

General
- Service animals are welcome; however, pets are not permitted in the Museum or restaurant.
- Smoking is not permitted in the Museum or restaurant.
