The pioneering museum for American artists and art is returning downtown to where it began. In spring 2015, the Whitney will open a new 220,000-square-foot building by architect Renzo Piano, providing today’s artists with unique aspirational spaces to realize their visions. When you become a Founding Member, you will enjoy all the benefits of your level of membership plus many special Founding Member experiences.
