Zoe Strauss

November 7, 2009

Zoe Strauss is an award-winning artist who participated in the 2006 Biennial. She turned to photography after receiving a 35mm camera for her thirtieth birthday. In her own work, Strauss often takes photographs in and around her South Philadelphia neighborhood. The artist led the group through the Roni Horn aka Roni Horn exhibition, exploring Horn’s images through the lens of her own work and processes. Families then created images inspired by her work and the exhibition.
