Formerly the director of the New York–based Netart Initiative, Zhang Ga has exhib­ited and lectured on media art worldwide and has published in \u003cem\u003eOctober\u003c/em\u003e, \u003cem\u003eFlash Art International\u003c/em\u003e, and with the MIT Press. He directed Chronus Art Center, Shanghai, from 2015 to 2025, and is the former consulting curator of media art at the National Art Museum of China, Beijing, where he curated three editions of its international media art triennial (2008-2014).
