Whitney Wees: Colors, Shapes, and Lines!
SAT, Jan 11, 2014
10:30–11:30 am
Artists work in different ways. Roy Lichtenstein uses bold colors and a comic book aesthetic in his paintings while Ellsworth Kelly creates geometric abstractions using shape and line. Families will explore American Legends: From Calder to O’Keeffe and compare how different artists emphasize shape, line, and color in their art.
