Whether you’re a first time visitor or a Whitney regular, this tour offers a great introduction to the museum. On this tour, we will look at how the architecture of the building engages its local context and history. We will consider its connections to the Whitney’s origins in 1930s Greenwich Village and to the ongoing mission of the Whitney’s collection and exhibitions program.
