New York City teens in grades 9 through 12 are invited to explore Yayoi Kusama through a guided exhibition tour and a variety of art-making workshops including watercolor, ink, and acrylic techniques; clothing design; and more. Well known for her use of dense patterns of polka dots and nets, as well as her intense, large-scale environments, Kusama works in a variety of media, including painting, drawing, sculpture, film, performance, and immersive installation. Refreshments will be served.
