Open Studio for Teens: Occupy Museums

FRI, Apr 21, 2017
4–6 pm

Floor Three, Hearst Artspace

For New York City teens

Join us on April 21 for a special Open Studio with artist collective Occupy Museums! Formed during the Occupy Wall Street movement in 2011, Occupy Museums calls attention to economic and social injustice. In 2012, the collective launched Debtfair, an exhibition platform that categorizes artists according to their debts and other financial realities. In this Open Studio, join Occupy Museums in a discussion about their work and participate in a collaborative project!

Free. Refreshments and art materials provided. No RSVP required – bring a friend! A Visitor Services Assistant will be handing out tickets in the lobby.
