The works in this screening each explore the ritual-like transformation of human energy through the body, movement, and the organic world:

Stan Brakhage (b. 1933, Kansas City, MO; d. 2003, Victoria, Canada), Persian Series 13–18, 2001. 16mm film, color, silent; 9 min. Purchase with funds from the Orentreich Family Foundation  2005.118

This screening is free with Museum admission.
