Work Architecture

May 2, 2009

Amale Andraos and Dan Wood are architects and the founding members of the WORK Architecture company. They create innovative ways to use space through eco-friendly design. For example, WORK Architecture installed a working farm structure in the outdoor courtyard of PS1 Contemporary Art Center in 2008. Andraos led families through the process of architectural planning, sharing actual plans and drawings from their past projects. Families then designed their own addition to the Whitney’s Breuer building, inspired by the Museum's current building project.
