Experience the Whitney’s world-renowned collection of American art in American Sign Language. Whitney Signs is a free gallery tour led by expert Museum educators who are Deaf.

Whitney Signs takes place the first Saturday of each month at 4 pm, with a pre-tour reception at 3 pm. The tour is voice-interpreted. ASL tours without voice interpretation take place the third Friday of each month at 7pm, with a pre-tour reception at 6pm.

Check-in is in the Museum lobby. We encourage you to RSVP at asl_tours@whitney.org or

ASL students, please note: We regret that complimentary tickets will not be available for ASL students; regular student admission is $12 with a valid student ID.

Museum staff or ASL interpreters will not be able to sign student assignments.

Assistive listening devices ( ALD ) are available free-of-charge at the Access Services Desk in the Museum lobby. The Museum offers FM and infrared receivers with headsets or neck loops. Please inquire about the portable ALD that best suits your needs.
