Danny Meyer’s Union Square Hospitality Group has opened Untitled, its new restaurant at the Whitney.

Untitled presents a contemporary take on the classic Manhattan coffee shop, and features the simple, comforting, and seasonal cooking of Executive Chef Chris Bradley, formerly the Executive Sous Chef of Gramercy Tavern.

The restaurant serves breakfast (all day) and lunch, with brunch on weekends. The menu features updates on coffee shop classics, all made with carefully sourced, local ingredients: freshly baked breakfast pastries, eggs and omelets, waffles and pancakes, salads, soups, sandwiches and burgers, daily “Meat and Three” specials, and Four & Twenty Blackbirds pies, Betty Bakery cakes, and Blue Marble ice cream for dessert. Untitled serves Stumptown Coffee.

Dinner, offered exclusively on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday night, features a three-course, set menu which changes weekly based on what’s fresh in the market and is served family style ($46, not including beverage, tax, and service).

Both Museum visitors and non-museum guests may dine at Untitled.

Chef Bradley has cooked at New York’s beloved and critically acclaimed Gramercy Tavern under Chef Mike Anthony since 2007, as well as in the kitchens of Café Boulud, Aureole and Saul. He will lead the restaurant alongside General Manager Kevin Richer, formerly the General Manager and Beverage Director of Tabla.

The restaurant, located on the Museum’s lower level, is designed by Rockwell Group. The design of Untitled is harmonious with that of the Marcel Breuer-designed Museum. The phone number for Untitled is (212) 570-3670.

Groups of ten or more people are welcome to visit at reduced admission rates and receive express admission. For discounted group admission rates, a reservation is required. Groups arrive at the Museum together and then disperse throughout the galleries.

For standard group admission, ten to thirty people per group are permitted. Special arrangements can be made ahead of time for larger groups, which may include breaking into smaller groups and staggering their arrival times.

Experience the Whitney’s world-renowned collection of American art in American Sign Language. Whitney Signs is a free gallery tour led by expert Museum educators who are Deaf.

Whitney Signs takes place the first Saturday of each month at 4 pm, with a pre-tour reception at 3 pm. The tour is voice-interpreted. ASL tours without voice interpretation take place the third Friday of each month at 7pm, with a pre-tour reception at 6pm.

ASL students, please note: We regret that complimentary tickets will not be available for ASL students; regular student admission is $12 with a valid student ID.

Since its opening in July of 1991, Sarabeth’s at the Whitney has become a favorite dining spot for both Upper East Side residents and visitors from all over the world.

Sarabeth’s at the Whitney was the first private restaurant to provide food service in a New York museum. A sophisticated menu is offered several times a year but retains perennial favorites, such as the cream of tomato soup, chicken pot pie, buttermilk pancakes, and signature dessert. Patrons may also enjoy a cup of coffee or a dessert in the adjoining casual café or, during warmer weather, at tables in the sculpture court.
