Physical Access

Please use the main entrance at 945 Madison Avenue between 74th and 75th Streets. Elevators are available for all levels of the Museum.

Admissions

Please go directly to the Access Services Desk to purchase tickets and ask about services. The desk is located at the end of the Admissions Desk farthest from the entrance.

Wheelchair Availability

Manual wheelchairs are available free-of-charge for use within the Museum on a first-come, first-served basis. Please inquire at the coat check area.

Accessible Public Transportation Directions to the Museum 

Metropolitan Transit Authority buses are equipped with wheelchair lifts. The M1, M2, M3, and M4 buses stop on Madison Avenue between 74th and 75th Streets going uptown, and on Fifth Avenue between 74th and 75th Streets going downtown.
