Guided Tours

Groups may request tours guided by Whitney Teaching Fellows, PhD candidates in art history.

Submit a reservation request at least one month in advance.

  • Groups of ten or more people are eligible for discounted group rates; smaller groups may schedule a private tour but do not receive the group discount
  • Premium Tours provide access to the Museum on Friday mornings, 9–10:30 am, before the Whitney opens to the public
  • Size: the maximum tour group size is twenty five people; larger groups will be scheduled for staggered tour times
  • Assistive Listening Devices are provided to all tour groups at no added cost; guests borrow or use their own headphones
  • Corporate Members at the $25,000 level and above pay only the Teaching Fellow fee for tours during Museum hours

Adults:
$20 (reduced from $25)

Seniors 65+:
$16 (reduced from $18)

Full-time college/university students:
$16 (reduced from $18)

Tour Fee
1 Hour:
Group admission + $200 per Teaching Fellow

1.5 Hour:
Group admission + $250 per Teaching Fellow

Premium Tours (Fridays, 9–10:30 am):
$1,200 for up to twenty five guests

The main entrance of the Museum is accessible with elevator access to all floors. All gender restrooms are available on floors -1, 3, 5, and 8. Service animals welcome. Please come fragrance free.
