Bombshell
Bombshell, 1999  2002.318

Amy: I believe that a museum can only be as healthy as the most unhealthy member of it's community.

Isometric Systems in Isotropic Space--Map Projections: The Snail

Amy: I'm wondering what all these artists have in common? Were they rich, middle class? Did they photograph their own work with expensive cameras?

The Car
The Car, 1995  96.171a-m

Amy: I was only able to arrange this first page out of all the art work I chose. I put my favorites from Dec. 25th. One of my favorites is Katy Grannan's photo,Jada, Sugar Camp Road, Saxton Pa., 2003. I couldn't get it on to this page though.

Ocean Surface Woodcut

Amy: I have refused to visit the ocean since the Gulf Oil Spill. I want to quit driving, quit spending money,.

Untitled (Fetish series, Iowa)

Amy: In College Art History class we looked at slide after slide of art produced and displayed by men and a few token women. What would it be like to sit in a class room and look at mostly women's art, with a few token men?

Self-Portrait
Self-Portrait, 1993  94.64

Amy: I wonder if the artist knows that members of the community can arrange and comment on their art, now that women are being recognized as artists. At least in this setting.

Pieta
Pieta, 1999  2001.151

Amy: Thanks ,Whitney and it's Artists, for giving me the chance to curate this one page.
