Narrator: Oh, who left that package there? Well, this might look like an artwork that hasn’t been unwrapped, but, guess what, it’s supposed to be just like that! The artist Christo likes to wrap all kinds of things. He’s wrapped some buildings, cars, statues, and even a rocky coast along the seashore!
Christo found that brown wrapping—its called a tarpaulin—the rope, and the hand truck and put them together. He didn’t actually make any of the objects that you see here. Now find some clues that let you know whether this package is heavy or light.
Look carefully at the way this package is wrapped. Imagine what might be inside. It’s a mystery, isn’t it? Perhaps no one except the artist knows!
If you could make a mystery package, what would you put inside it, and why?
