Thom Andersen’s films investigate the past and present of Los Angeles through architecture, music, and images from Hollywood movies. Today, Andersen discusses his work with legendary film critic J. Hoberman, whose recent book An Army of Phantoms likewise looks at American history through the lens of cinema.
Free with Museum admission. Admittance is on a first-come, first-seated basis until capacity is reached. Late admittance is strongly discouraged, so please arrive early.
