From Wednesday, May 26 at 12 am through Friday, May 28 at 11:59 pm, the Museum will remain open for three consecutive days as part of 2010 artist Michael Asher’s Biennial project.
Michael Asher’s initial proposal for the Whitney Biennial was to have the exhibition open continuously to the public twenty-four hours a day for one week (Monday, May 24 through Sunday, May 30).
Due to budgetary and human resources limitations, the Museum is unable to remain open to the public twenty-four hours a day for one week. As a result, the duration of this work has been shortened from the artist’s original proposal.

to 9 am on Thursday, May 27
From 11 pm on Thursday, May 27
to 9 am on Friday, May 28
From 6 pm to 11:59 pm on Friday, May 28

Please Note
The Museum’s cafe, Sandwiched, has extended its hours until 9 pm from May 26–May 28.
Also, the Museum Store will remain open from 12 am on May 26 to 11:59 pm on May 28th.
