Trisha Brown’s Floor of the Forest: Performed by Members of the 2010–11 Second Avenue Dance Company, Tisch School of the Arts

Off the Wall: Part 2—Seven Works by Trisha Brown, features the Trisha Brown Dance Company, on the occasion of the company’s fortieth anniversary, performing iconic works from the 1970s, including the spectacular Walking on the Wall, originally performed at the Whitney in 1971; performance films and a sound installation, Skymap, will also be on view.

This performance is free and does not require Museum admission. The viewing area in the Sculpture Court is standing-room only and available on a first-come, first-served basis. This performance can also be viewed from the sidewalk in front of the Museum. Weather permitting.
