Spotlight Tours of the 2014 Whitney Biennial

During this three-part series of evening events, Whitney teaching fellows will explore the Whitney Biennial's three distinct curatorial visions. Each event will focus on a different gallery floor of the Biennial.
Building on a longstanding commitment to innovation and experimentation, the Whitney has adopted a bold new form for the 2014 Biennial. Three curators form outside the Museum—Stuart Comer, Anthony Elms, and Michelle Grabner—were invited to bring their unique perspectives to the Whitney's signature survey of American art. Each of the curators has individually overseen the installation and programming for a single gallery floor, bringing a range of methodologies to the final Biennial to take place in the Whitney's Madison Avenue building before the Museum moves downtown in 2015.
