Family Fun: Color and Composition!

Sat, June 11, 2016
2:30–4:30 pm

Floor Three, Laurie M. Tisch Education Center, Hearst Artspace

Please note: The Family Fun program on June 11 has been canceled. Families are invited to drop in for Open Studio, or reserve tickets for the June 18 program.

Families create hands-on art projects inspired by discussion and activities in the galleries. This month, explore composition and color in the exhibition Stuart Davis: In Full Swing. Learn how Davis used geometric shapes and flat planes of color to represent the things that he saw around him, and experiment by making your own colorful artworks!

This program has been developed specifically for kids ages 6 to 10. Siblings are welcome to join the group but must have a ticket.
