Film Screening and Q&A with Matt Porterfield

As part of a series of Youth Insights events organized around the Biennial 2012 exhibition, New York City high school students were invited to the Museum on May 5 for a screening of Biennial artist Matt Porterfield’s film Putty Hill, which focuses on the lives of Baltimore teenagers. After the film, the teen audience participated in a question and answer session with Porterfield, where he shared thoughts on his influences and the challenges of making the film.
