YI Artist, Fall 2012
Calendar, shoe, sharpie, post-its, pen, hot glue
The two ordinary objects are juxtaposed to create not an extraordinary object, but a cluttered representation of simple everyday events. The shoes are meant to be viewed as a pair, each constituent “sinking” into the calendar. It’s odd, yet enlightening to perceive the items in an unusual fashion.
