Hello, my name is Emilio. I was born in December 1994. I have lived in the Bronx for most of my life. My parents came from Honduras, so that makes me Honduran. Youth Insights was brought to my attention by a friend who recently participated in the program. When he explained the program to me, I was instantly interested and I wanted to join. My major current interests are skateboarding, photography, and film. There are other things I’m interested in as well, such as video games, history, and music.
For me, art is a way to live creatively. If you focus, you can see that art is everywhere you go. One of my favorite artists is Andy Warhol. Besides Pop Art, I’m very interested in Renaissance and Impressionist Art. I find inspiration through having a positive attitude. The more positively I think, the more motivation I have to accomplish things. Watching others become successful also inspires me. In the future, I hope to achieve my current goals as well as many more. Besides that, I want to have an extraordinary life that I can share with others.
