Who am I? I am a leader. I am a writer. I am the student teachers love to have. I am a good daughter, sister, and friend. I am versatile. I am different. I am courageous. I am open-minded. I am compassionate. I am the lover not the fighter, but I will fight for what I love if I have to. I am multicultural. I was born and raised in New York. Since my family is made up of so many cultures and ethnicities, I think I can adapt to most situations and environments. I’m not afraid to take risks. I am Porscher, and I am proud of who I am and who I’m going to be!
I returned to Youth Insights because I love the atmosphere, the people, and the Museum itself. I would never pass up the opportunity to be here, even if I could be anywhere else. I still want to learn more about my identity as an individual, and also about people with similar interests as me.
Things I’m interested in? The list could go on forever but I’ll keep it short. I love reading and writing. I enjoy acting, drama, and playwriting as well. I still love video games, but they’re not as big a part of my life as they used to be. I love making new friends. I have also become obsessed with cooking, but who can blame me? It is fun and it tastes good.
Art is not a big part of my life, it is my life. We are forms of art—all of us. We are all unique and beautiful with our own intricate designs. We are all masterpieces. Our lives are like canvases just waiting to be painted. My favorite artists are Norman Rockwell, Keith Haring, and the writer, Emily Dickinson.
You will hear a lot about me in the future. I plan on winning a Nobel Peace Prize and curing cancer. I also plan on publishing more than a few literary works. I will have a PhD in Oncology and Theater. I will influence everyone I meet for the better and still find time to be a great mother.
