2010 Shoebox Memories
Inspired by the work of Edward Hopper, YI Artists created shoebox dioramas based on childhood memories of places in their pasts. Some took the project literally and created a room or a moment exactly as it was from the past. Others worked more abstractly, capturing emotions through color, shape, and placement to convey specific memories.
