2010 Reading Pictures: Text and Image
The YI Writers looked closely at the work of Barbara Kruger, analyzing the way she changes the meaning of found images through the incorporation of text. After investigating her art, the teens used the same concept to create their own collages of text and images with newspapers, magazines, and basic materials.
